Housing Projects

Our housing projects aim to demonstrate that the provision of good quality housing that is well located and designed and incorporates technology and supports that foster independence, will result in better quality of life, increased independence and reduce lifetime care costs for people with disability and complex care needs. Beginning with two apartments in Abbotsford, Victoria, in 2013, this success was replicated in 2016, with 10 further apartments in the Hunter region, New South Wales. Our next housing project which is due for completion in mid-2018 will be in Fairfield, Victoria. We will look to partner with governments, private developers, community housing providers and other stakeholders to increase the range and scale of diverse housing options available for people with disability.
